Serving the south suburbs since 2007, I have over 30 years' gardening experience and specialize in sustainable, environmentally-friendly and organic methods. In addition to operating my business, I'm a garden writer, and Master Gardener serving the south suburbs through horticultural and environmental education and hands-on community service.

My services include:

On-Site Consultations.

I can visit and assess your yard and garden, identify plants, make planting recommendations, and help with questions on pruning, mulching, composting, perennial care and maintenance, and any other garden-related questions you may have.

If your interests lie primarily in ornamental gardening, gardening for wildlife, or you'd like to expand into vegetable gardening, whether you're a new homeowner with an existing garden and want help identifying plants and learning how to care for them, or a veteran gardener looking for tips and inspiration to take your garden to the next level, a consultation is a great way to start.

Consultations may include follow-up reasearch and phone or email follow-up at no additional charge.

Garden Coaching.

Coaching, like consultation, is done in your yard and garden, tailored to your individual goals and offered on an ongoing basis with visits based upon your needs as your garden progresses. I help do-it-yourself gardeners at every level of experience define and implement their gardening goals.

Full-Service Gardening.

If you love your garden and want it looking its best but lack the time, desire, or physical capability to maintain your ornamental beds and borders, I offer full-service garden maintenance including planting, weed control, watering, dividing perennials, deadheading, pruning shrubs, spring and fall clean-up, and garden restoration.

An experienced organic vegetable gardener, I can do everything from turning a sunny patch of lawn into a beautiful and productive raised-bed kitchen garden, to harvesting your healthful, delicious organic vegetables and herbs for you.

Vacation Watering.

Have you returned from a great vacation only to find the teenager down the street forgot to water your container plants or your garden? I can care for your plants while you're away, keeping them watered and deadheaded so you can relax and enjoy your garden when you return.
